These properties makes it a special attraction to the aerospace, rail and biomedical industries as a possible replacement to steel based alloys. In this study, the Taguchi methodology was employed for the optimisation of the process parameters. The three process parameters considered are; the feed rate (0.25-0.5 mm\/rev), depth of cut (0.3-0.75 mm) and the cutting speed (20 m\/min to 100 m\/min). Taking the surface roughness as the response of the designed experiment, the experimental produced four experimental runs that was validated via physical experimentations and statistically. The results show that cutting speed has the highest contribution to surface roughness (71.27%) followed by the feed rate (15.46) while the depth of cut has the least contribution (13.27%). The combination of process parameters which produced the least surface roughness is feed rate 0.250 mm\/min, depth of cut 0.75 mm and cutting speed of 100 m\/min.
