The extracted features are used for monitoring and other purposes. While extracting features, human intelligence can be incorporated as straightforwardly as possible. This allows exercising bio-intelligence which is one of the facets of the bbiologicalisation of manufacturing. This study presents a knowledge chain consisting of creative, inductive, and deductive knowledge. This chain straightforwardly engages human intelligence while processing chaotic signals. The chain can process manufacturing process-relevant signals (torque, force, and surface roughness) with the required speed needed for building cyber-physical systems.

Keywords: Biological transformation, Bio-intelligence, Manufacturing process relevant signals, Chaotic signals

Video presentation

Presenting author

Name:

Affiliation:

Email:

AMM Sharif Ullah

Kitami Institute of Technology, Japan

ullah@mail.kitami-it.ac.jp

by AMM Sharif Ullah, Doriana D’Addona (Japan, Italy) Abstract Signal processing involves analog-to-digital conversion, extraction of the relevant segment of signal, and feature extraction in time and frequency domains.
