In this paper, the potential of using process simulation platforms is explored in order to visualise and validate baggage handling processes involving robotic handling systems and human operators. Multiple baggage handling layout configurations are digitally constructed and reviewed with the aim to investigate cost, time, and flexibility performance indicators.
