    Dear Ms Lannunziata,
it is a current and interesting presentation, the results of which have been well highlighted.
On their basis, it seems that there is no morphological and/or mechanical advantage connected to the use of Water Atomization. To be totally discarded in favor of Gas Atomization.
It’s really so? Or have you identified some strengths for WA that can justify its use in additive manufacturing?

Thanks for the question Mr. Ventacci. From a morphological point of view, the WA doesn’t present advantages. However, it is possible to reach a density of over 99% using the suitable process parameter, so if it is enough for your application, you can save around 40% of your money. Regarding the mechanical properties, the WA powder resulted in a lower YS and UTS. Still, the values align with the L-PBF standard and are higher than the conventional manufacturing ones.
