Dear Hamid Ghorbani,
thank you for your interesting presentation. I have a question regarding the computational complexity of your method for the alignment of the scanned point cloud with the nominal CAD model. How long does it take for your method to do the alignment?
Dear Dr. Segreto
Many thanks for your comment. In general, the computational complexity of the alignment process depends on the shape of the 3D scanned part, point cloud data density, initial misalignment, and size and geometry of damages. In our case studies, it takes almost 300 seconds for rough (PCA) , fine (ICP) , and fine-tuned registration.

Many thanks for your answer! In your case, the alignment process works very fast!
