For the time being we just use the discrete convolution, thus it boils down to a matrix multiplication and to find the minimum in the vector we get as a result.
Matrix operations should be computable in reasonable time even for many iterations or plants in parallel.
Great presentation! I was just curious to know more about the numerical methods for the optimization when the number of plants in parallel increases.
