Prof. Putnik, thank you for your interesting presentation. As regards the SNE methodology when compared with “classical” education methodology, what do you think about students preference?

    • Thank you very much for the question. This is exactly the question we were concerned. In order to have the answer we were systematically questioning the students about their preferences through the questionnaire at the end of semester. So, we have empirical data on this question. As the SNE methodology is applied for already 9 years, we have the answers from students from nine years of experience. The result is that the students have clear preferences for SNE comparing with the “classical” methodology. However, the expressed preferences should be taken carefully. We don’t think if the SNE would be, hypothetically, applied as the only one methodology for all Curricula Units (subjects) that the results would be the same, from a number of reasons. So, we believe, SNE should be applied as one of the pedagogical methodologies along with others. That is, we defend the application of a mix of pedagogical methodologies in which SNE would be one.
