The CIRP ICME Conference Series started in 1998 with the first edition, strongly supported by Dr. M. Eugene Merchant, as an issue of the activities of the CIRP Collaborative Working Group (CWG) on Artificial Intelligence Applications in Manufacturing Engineering within the Scientific-Technical Committee “O” of the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP STC “O”).

The 16th edition of the CIRP Conference on Intelligent Computation in Manufacturing Engineering, exceptionally held as a Virtual Conference, starts on Wednesday, 13 July 2022, with the Opening Session that includes two Keynote Presentations and continues until Friday, 15 July 2022, with parallel Technical Sessions with recorded video presentations and interactive discussions through posted Q&A.
